ACM weather louvres can be supplied to suit an existing aperture, or tailored and fitted to the performance of any given generator. Weather louvres can be supplied in most finishes; please ask us for details.

Typically used where minimal noise reduction is required, ACM Acoustic Engineering’s acoustic louvres offer a 15dBA reduction. These can be made to any size.

Designed to be mounted above a roof where any attenuation would be set beneath it, ACM penthouse louvres are square or rectangular, feature a water shedding roof, and can have louvres on any or all sides.

ACM attenuators are tailored to the volume of air passing through them and the desired noise level to be achieved. Where attenuators are used in a plantroom installation, they are usually manufactured from pre-galvanised mild steel and supplied unpainted. When supplied with an enclosure or container, they will be top coat painted to match.

Used mainly in plantrooms where the attenuators do not connect directly to the building wall, ductwork is a means of ducting air between the attenuators and the outside environment. ACM ductwork can also be supplied fire rated for your assurance.

Fire dampers can be supplied in multiple sections to achieve any size and are used to keep fire in or out of an area.

At ACM, our enclosures are specific to the particular detail of every project; designed and manufactured to suit the generator, noise levels and space requirements. Our standard enclosure will be supplied in the colour of your choice, fitted with exhaust stub pipes and radiator flexible connector as standard. We can offer an electrical package within the enclosure to suit your needs. We can also supply fuel pipe penetrations, cable apertures or link boxes and busbars.

As with ACM’s enclosures, all containers are bespoke and fitted with the same standard equipment – and we can offer the same options. Containers are individually manufactured so that structural elements match the design of the particular generator to be installed into it. One end is removable to allow access for the generator and the container can be either top or bottom lift. We also offer tailor-made fire detection/extinguishing systems for our containers.

We provide structural, acoustic and bunded bases to fit any of our enclosures. These are supplied in black, have their own lifting points and can be designed to lift the base fitted with the generator. All bunded bases are fitted with recesses where float switches can be supplied.

Every exhaust system is designed to achieve a particular noise level from a given generator, and we can offer either the individual exhaust silencers for others to install, or a complete package including supports, gaskets and fixings along with our installation service. The standard finish is either black, silver or stainless steel high temperature paint.

Upon request, we can also offer a shot blast and hot metal sprayed finish which is sealed with a silicon sealer. Where multiple exhausts are required to be mounted on to the roof of our enclosures/containers, these are supplied on a mounting frame and supplied fully assembled, for a single lift on site.

Used effectively in plantroom applications, ACM offers single and double leaf doorsets in a frame to suit most apertures, in either a pre-galvanised mild steel sheet, or primer painted finish. On request, we can supply most types of door furniture, viewing windows and any colour finish. Our standard acoustic door offers a reduction of 35dB, upon request we can offer doors having a greater reduction.

ACM Ltd has a modular system for lining plantroom walls and ceilings to reduce reverberation noise within the room. This is available with a perforated style, pre-galvanised mild steel finish, and we can offer our installation service on this product as well.

Where required, we can offer a range of fans to supplement the generator radiator.

ACM supplies single or double-skinned tanks with a full range of connections, switches, gauges and indicators, tailored to suit the capacity of storage required and the space available to site it.
