As both acoustic consultants and manufacturers, ACM Acoustic Engineering creates products that improve ventilation and exhaust emissions while reducing noise levels across a wide range of applications. We understand noise reduction equipment from an engineering perspective and from the perspective of our end-users – and because we’re an ISO 9001:2000 accredited business, all our containers and enclosures are built to satisfy even the most stringent quality control standards.

ACM Ltd offers a full design package. We start with the client’s concept of what is required – and we’re prepared to attend sites at tender stage to offer ideas and solutions that can often be cost saving. From here, information can be forwarded to our clients in the form of quotations or drawings. The drawing office prepares drawings for quotes and orders, which are submitted for tender purposes or customer approval prior to manufacture. Drawings are frequently modified several times before approval, ensuring we meet requirements and expectations at every stage.
At present, our drawings are presented on Autocad, but the company has recently invested in Solid Works and will be offering this to our clients in the near future.

ACM has the capacity to build noise control equipment in-house, with work carried out in our machine shop, small and large assembly shops and finished off in the spray booth. Each and every component is bespoke, and made to suit the particular requirements of each project. Our manufacturing capability ranges from the simplest of weather louvres, right through to 40’ style acoustic containers. Depending on the product, our range of finishes can be natural, wet painted, powder coated, plastic coated or galvanised. Our container models can also be supplied with fire protection systems, lighting, anti-vibration mounts, and single or double doors and windows.

ACM Ltd offers a full range of installation services and all of our site operatives hold current CSCS cards, enabling them to work on all UK sites. Our installers have vast experience both in the UK and abroad. The company can carry out on-site installation of noise control equipment, and can also offer ‘off site’ installations, such as fitting generators, fuel tanks and control panels into our acoustic containers. We also undertake the supply and installation of fuel pipe work, electrics and fire detection systems. ACM Ltd can also offer an ‘off site’ testing facility at our works for generators installed within our acoustic enclosures/containers.

If you have a noise issue and require assistance in determining the problem – and resolving it – our experienced technical staff will be pleased to offer their services. We can offer our advice on the source of noise, suggest ways of remedying the problem, offer design concepts where space may be at a premium and prepare a report for your consideration. All of this at a competitive price, wherever you are in the UK.
